The Washington Redskins ran into a problem when they signed former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, his number 10 jersey is already being worn by star quarterback Robert Griffin III.
“I definitely am familiar on the No. 10 [worn by] Robert Griffin,” Jackson said on a conference call with reporters, via Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Washington. “We’ve talked about it a little bit. But that isn’t a decision that’s been made yet so far.”
But according to Griffin a decision has been made and he will be keeping the number in an announcement made on Twitter and Facebook.

That means Jackson needed a new number and reportedly will wear No. 11.
With RGIII sticking with No. 10, new Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson now is leaning toward No. 11.
