Free-agent veteran defensive back Champ Bailey has apparently found his new home as Adam Schefter is reporting that he will indeed sign with the New Orleans Saints after visiting with them on Friday.

After a season in which he finally had the chance to play in a Super Bowl, the Denver Broncos decided to part ways with the vet after 10 great seasons with the team. Bailey came over in a trade with the Washington Redskins back in 2004.

This beefs up the Saints’ secondary a little more this offseason as the team has already signed free-agent Jairus Byrd a few hours after the free agency period opened up a few weeks ago.

While he might be up there in age, Bailey does bring a good bit of experience to this Saints defense, which we saw in the playoffs last season they could desperately use.

Will New Orleans be the final stop in his Hall of Fame career?
