On Friday, the St. Louis Blues’ AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, announced that they have agreed to sign Jake Chelios. For those who are unaware, Chelios is the son of NHL Hall of Famer Chris Chelios.
Chelios spent the past four years with the Michigan State Spartans, before a short stay with Toledo of the ECHL.
The Wolves recently became the Blues’ AHL affiliate, after serving the role for the Atlanta Thrashers and Vancouver Canucks.
Chelios, 23, had 23 goals in 43 games the past season between the Spartans and Toledo.
