Daron Cruickshank speaks out on violence outside the cage

Daron Cruickshank has had a solid career thus far in the UFC since his stint on the Ultimate Fighter Live season. Cruickshank has posted a 4-2 UFC record, including two highlight reel knockouts. With his flashy style and intriguing persona outside the cage, Cruickshank is poised to become a breakout star in the UFC’s Lightweight division.

Yesterday, Cruickshank went on a Twitter tirade regarding an article he had read about an Atlanta area student being attacked by a fellow student at school.

It is really great to see a professional fighter come out against bullying with such vigor and passion. His points are all very valid, as we do live in a society that desensitizes us to violence. Other fighters should fall in line with Cruickshank in the fight to end bullying and violence outside of the Octagon.
