The New York Giants have signed a tight end, former Seattle Seahawk Kellen Davis.

It isn’t a really big flashy move. Last season Davis played just 172 offensive snaps and caught all three passes that went his way for 32 yards and one touchdown. His biggest strength isn’t pass catching, it is blocking.

The Giants got a solid season out of Martellus Bennett who helped their ground game, but was also a solid pass-catching tight end. With the Giants you can expect Davis to be used more as a blocker than a pass catcher as they try to straighten out their run game.
