The New York Knicks played host to the Washington Wizards on Friday night, and they had a very special guest sitting in the stands. Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly was in attendance after being released from the hospital, and the crowd gave the former Buffalo Bills quarterback a standing ovation.

Sports Illustrated Extra Mustard tweeted out a photo of the crowd’s reception for Kelly with a shot of the jumbotron.

It is great to see the applause for Kelly, who has to appreciate the gesture after the hard few weeks that he has had as he continues his battle with cancer.
