3-star DE Levon Livingston commits to Kentucky Wildcats

It is obviously a huge day for the Kentucky Wildcats. On Saturday night, they will take on the Wisconsin Badgers for the right to play the winner of the other national semifinal between the Florida Gators and Connecticut Huskies in Monday night’s national championship game.

It has also been a big day for Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football program.

First, Kentucky got commitments from offensive lineman Larry Wells and Logan Stenberg.

Then, they received a pledge from 3-star offensive tackle/strong side defensive end Levon Livingston.

Livingston announced the decision on twitter.

The 6’7, 250-pound Livingston attends Ballou STAY High School in Washington, D.C.

He could play on either side of the ball, but projects as a strong side defensive end. Livingston is ranked as the 24th best strong side defensive end prospect, the sixth best overall prospect in D.C. and the 506th best overall prospect, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Livingston also had offers from the North Carolina State Wolfpack and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others.
