Arena hosting WWE Hall of Fame ceremony issues warning to fans

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be LIVE tonight on the WWE Network. The company is even going to have a one hour red carpet special that will be hosted by Maria Menounos, which should be very interesting to see which Superstars will be showing up. Will CM Punk be there? He was spotted in New Orleans with (rumor has it, is his fiance) WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee.

Now we all know how crazy the WWE Universe can get during live shows. We have the CM Punk chants, the explicit chants, then you have the infamous ‘Yes!’ movement. The WWE doesn’t have any control when it comes to what the fans chant during events, but the arena who happens to be hosting the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is not putting up with it.

The Smoothie King Center released a statement to fans who purchased tickets to the event later on this evening. Here’s what they had to say, courtesy of NoDQ.com:

“WWE Hall Of Fame
Smoothie King Center
Saturday, April 5 at 8PM

Welcome to Wrestlemania 30 weekend and the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!!!

Please show the proper respect to the WWE Superstars and Hall of Fame Inductees when they are on stage speaking. There will be no inappropriate behavior, cat calls or chants of any kind tolerated at all. Violation of this policy will result in immediate ejection from The Smoothie King Center without warning.

Thank you and enjoy the 2014 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Wrestlemania 30.”

Fair warning WWE Universe, fair warning.
