Kansas City Royals selling water from iconic Kauffman Stadium fountains

There are several obligatory camera shots when you watch MLB games on television – the palm trees outside Chavez Ravine, the Arch in St. Louis, the Paul Revere statue in Massachusetts, and the Kauffman Stadium fountains in Kansas City.

Now you can actually purchase and own a part of one of these monuments – kind of.

Forget the mass-produced and bottled water when you go see the Kansas City Royals play, because you can now actually purchase some water from the iconic fountains.

Per an SI.com Extra Mustard story, MLB states that each bottle comes directly from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City and has been “officially licensed and authenticated by Major League baseball and comes with the MLB hologram guaranteeing its’ authenticity.”

Wonder how they actually prove that.
