The Cleveland Browns can’t seem to get anywhere with transition tagged center Alex Mack as contract talks have stalled and are going nowhere. As a result, the Jacksonville Jaguars have re-enterted the hunt for him and could be setting up a deal that would land the center in the AFC South at a hefty price.
While the Browns would have the chance to match any offer given to Mack, it’s being reported that the Jaguars could top shelf the the deal with $22 million guaranteed over three years, putting it out of Cleveland’s reach.
League source estimated a Mack offer sheet would need to include "$22 million fully guaranteed over first 3 yrs of deal," to make Cleve pass

No offer sheet has yet been extended by the Jaguars to Mack, but such a scenario is seeming more and more likely as the next 24 hours could see resolution come to the Alex mack saga and it could be resolution that lands him down south in Jacksonville.
