Later on tonight, one of the most energetic and powerful Superstars in WWE history will finally be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Warrior has had his personal battles with not only himself, but Vince McMahon and this company which led to a nasty fall out.
Warrior has worked some independent scenes for a long time, but I once thought that he was dead. I heard he passed away because of steroids, but that turned out to be false. Now he’s preparing himself to be inducted with the greatest in-ring performers of all-time. The man absolutely deserves it, no matter how dangerous he was in the ring, or whatever happened between himself and Vince McMahon.
Earlier today, the WWE posted a video on their official YouTube channel of Warrior reflecting on his career.
Warrior talks about the DVD that was released a couple years ago and how Vince asked him if he would be interested in being inducted into the Hall of Fame when Mania was in Phoenix. He says his story is an incredible story and that it was a delight in the business.
He was hands down one of my favorite Superstars in the early 90’s.
