The WWE held a Legends of Wrestling special from WrestleMania Axxess on the WWE Network last night with a panel that included Michael Cole, Mick Foley, John Bradshaw Layfield and Ric Flair himself.
The four men talked about their WrestleMania moments, John Cena, their favorite celebrities who attended/participated during the event and even looked back on Ric Flair’s final match in the WWE. The match was against Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair’s family was in attendance.
After the clip aired, the camera cut to a man who’s face was all red, with nothing but tears in his eyes. Flair started talking about how special it was to have his final match against someone who he thinks is the greatest in ring performer in professional wrestling history.
Then he pointed out that all of his babies were there, and now one of them is gone. Ric started to talk about his son Reid and began to start crying a little more. It was very emotional to watch and you could tell that JBL wasn’t sure what to do or say when the camera zoomed out to get the entire panel in the shot.
Flair eventually made it through, but that reaction was unexpected but real.
