3-star LB Kyler Manu commits to Boise State Broncos

The Boise State Broncos got one of their biggest commitments in school history when 4-star quarterback Brett Rypien committed to the Broncos on Saturday.

Rypien had plenty of big time offers, but felt more comfortable in Boise.

They weren’t done there.

On Saturday night, 3-star outside linebacker Kyler Manu committed to the Broncos.

On Saturday, the Broncos hosted their annual junior day and it obviously paid off as they landed two of the top prospects on their board.

Justin Hopkins of 24/7 Sports has the scoop.

Late Saturday night the staff also added a commitment from Pocatello (Idaho) Highland linebacker Kyler Manu.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder was always a lean to the Broncos but it caps off a huge junior day for the staff.

Manu is one of the top players in the state of Idaho. Boise assistant Andy Avalos identified his early talent and made him a priority.

Manu attends Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho.

Manu is ranked as the 74th best outside linebacker prospect, the third best overall prospect in the state of Idaho and the 1,207th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
