Brewers’ Ryan Braun back in the lineup, Jean Segura scratched

Ryan Braun, a man who -proved to be one of the leagues toughest hitters to face, became one of the most hated players after being linked to that BioGenesis Scandal that featured the names of some other Major League Baseball players.

But he’s served his suspension and is looking for a clean slate, so it’ll be interesting to see how he performs during the 2014 season. So far through four games, Braun has seen 16 at-bats but has only picked up one hit. He’s currently hitting .063/.118/.063 across the line early on, but will improve those numbers pretty quick.

Now he missed Saturday’s game but is reportedly back in the lineup for the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday according to Tom Haudricourt on Twitter.

So with Braun back in the lineup, the infielder Jean Segura will be taking a rest day according to Adam McCalvy on Twitter.

Jeff Bianchi is filling in for Segura during Sunday’s game.
