Texas A&M Aggies WR Ricky Seals-Jones arrested for disorderly conduct

Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested in College Station, Tx. on Sunday on a misdemeanor charge of ‘disorderly conduct (language)’ after reportedly taking part in a verbal altercation outside of a bar, according to a report from KBTX.

I guess Seals-Jones figured there was no reason for Johnny Manziel to have all the fun and get all the good press.

According to a police officer at the scene, Seals-Jones was arguing with a man around 2:30 AM after the two bumped into each other as they were leaving the bar, at which point Sales-Jones became quite verbose (and crude) in his feelings about the other man.

Seals-Jones was being “carried away by his friends” as the bars were closing in the 100 block of College Main. An officer says he saw someone bump into Seals-Jones, which led the wideout to reportedly start exchanging words with the person.

As the officer moved towards the scene to see and hear what was going on, he says Seals-Jones broke away from his friends and yelled “F*** you! You want some?” The officer also says Seals-Jones motioned to the other person like he wanted to fight. The player was taken into custody on the misdemeanor charge.

Seals-Jones, who had to be given a medical redshit in 2013, was one of the top wide receivers last year’s recruiting class, and was being counted on to fill the shoes of Mike Evans, who will be entering this year’s NFL Draft.
