Many folks expected Oklahoma State Cowboys guard Marcus Smart to leave for the NBA following last season, however he decided that he wanted to return for one more season in the collegiate ranks. But, two seasons in college is all we will get from the guard as he has officially decided to enter the 2014 NBA Draft.

This season, his sophomore year, Smart averaged 18 points per game with 5.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists.

His sophomore year was not all fun, though, as he was involved in an incident this past season in a game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders where he shoved a fan following an altercation after a play. For that, Smart served a brief suspension, while the Texas Tech fan involved was banned from the home games for the rest of the year.

At this point, Smart is projected by most outlets as a first-round pick, more than likely somewhere in the mid to late round area.
