After an impressive opening series, Dexter Fowler has been sitting out with a stomach virus.

MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart says that Fowler is not in the lineup again as the Astros take on the Angels. He has not played the last two games, either, and according to McTaggart, hasn’t eaten anything in three days.

Fowler went 6-for-12 against the Yankees in the Opening Series against the Yankees, getting two hits in each game and clubbing a homer. His status for the upcoming road trip to Toronto to face the Blue Jays is still up in the air.
