Bellator 115 reaches 830,000 viewers

This past weekend, Vitaly Minakov defended his Bellator Heavyweight championship by defeating Cheick Kongo by unanimous decision after five hard fought rounds in the main event of Bellator 115.

According to the MMA Report, based off of Nielsen sources, Bellator 115′s preliminary live viewership was at 830,000 total viewers. To compare, last weekend’s Bellator landed 711,000 viewers, and Bellator 113 landed 507,000 viewers.

Bellator 115 has the second highest viewership of Bellator Season 10. The first was the Season 10 debut, Bellator 110, which featured Rampage Jackson and King Mo.

Cheick Kongo seems to have drawing power for Bellator, considering that most of the card was reshuffled only 24 hours before the first fight began.

Two fights were scrapped, one due to Andrey Koreshkov’s flu and one due to Jeremy Kimball missing weight. Bellator ended up adding a scratched World Series of Fighting 9 bout to the card in order to have nine fights at the event.
