Undefeated women’s bantamweight Holly Holm added another win to her record last Friday at Legacy FC 31 with a highlight reel knockout over Juliana Werner, which brought up old discussions about whether or not she will eventually sign with the UFC.
Holm initially appeared to be on track to signing with the UFC, but talks broke down after some differences with UFC president Dana White and Holm’s manager.
When Holm was approached by the UFC, her coach, Mike Winkeljohn, said that the promotion offered her $15,000 to show and $15,000 to win for her first contract with the top promotion but the two sides were still far apart.
White has said that he is done negotiating with Holm because of her manager, so any chance of seeing her inside of the octagon will have to wait.
In the meantime, Holm has one fight left on her Legacy FC contract and she could be considering a boxing bout in September once her broken arm fully heals.
