Melvin Guillard was recently released by the UFC following a loss to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 38, but his phone was immediately ringing with interest from potential suitors. Now, he has found a new home.
On Monday night, Jeremy Botter of Bleacher Report announced that Guillard has signed with World Series of Fighting.

Guillard has just one win since July of 2012, but he remains a big name in the sport and adds another talented fighter to the World Series of Fighting roster.
There is no date or opponent currently set for his debut, but it is very likely that he could appear later this year when Rousimar Palhares defends his title against fellow UFC veteran Jon Fitch.
