NBA Draft: LeBron James says Shabazz Napier should be first point guard taken

Tonight, all eyes are on the 2014 NCAA Tournament National Championship Game and the battle between the UConn Huskies, led by star guard Shabazz Napier, and the Kentucky Wildcats.

Those eyes also include some from the NBA ranks, and during the game, the biggest star in the NBA, LeBron James, gave a huge ringing endorsement to Napier, who played wonderfully in the first half for the Huskies.

With the way that Napier has played this entire year for UConn, it’s really hard to argue with LeBron’s analysis on this one. He doesn’t even need to be the top scorer to impact the game. He’s a master at distributing the ball, and can also get the tough rebounds.

Not to mention, he’s probably the best guard in transition in all of college basketball.

Still, that’s some big praise from a really big star. Now let’s see if he can gain some more momentum heading into the draft by claiming a national title.
