Greetings! It’s Monday morning, and each and every week (including last Monday), we bring you the latest look at the always entertaining race for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award. There is just one full week in the regular season, but the NBA MVP award remains up for grabs (at least in theory), and the fight for spots 3 through 5 is certainly worth monitoring as things come to a close.

For reference, the MVP “criteria” used here is the most literal sense of the word, and team success (while certainly a factor) doesn’t include or exclude any prospective candidate from the proceedings. Without further ado, let’s get it going!
