Ryan Cook reinstated from DL for Athletics

As Spring Training injuries start to heal, rosters become more complete and more of a semblance of what had been predicted by the front office.

The Oakland Athletics officially announced that they had reinstated reliever Ryan Cook from the disabled list. Cook had been placed there because of shoulder pain from Spring Training. In a related move, they optioned Evan Scribner to Triple-A.

Cook will join the back end of the bullpen in a setup role and relief closer for Jim Johnson.
