The Missouri Tigers have landed their share of play makers over the last few seasons.
That became obvious last season when the Tigers posted a 12-2 record and won the SEC East Championship.
They landed another on Tuesday when 4-star running back Natereace Strong gave his pledge to the Tigers.
“The bond they have as a family, and the coaches who are honest and look after you as a son, and how the coaches check on you and make sure you are good in school and your personal life,” Strong told Steve Wiltfong of 24/7 Sports.
“Also I’m going to major in communications and they’re a good school for that. And it’s the SEC, that’s the best college conference. And it’s close, so my family can come see me play.”
The 6’1, 210-pound strong attends East St. Louis High School in East St. Louis, Illinois.
He is ranked as the 19th best running back prospect, the third best overall prospect in the state of Illinois and the 209th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Strong chose the Tigers over an impressive list of offers, including the Florida State Seminoles, Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State Buckeyes.
