Craig Breslow to be activated Wednesday for Red Sox

Teams will continue to take shape as players return from injuries suffered during Spring Training.

Craig Breslow is one of those. He has been out with a shoulder strain since the end of Spring, and has been rehabbing in the minor leagues. He is eligible to come back to the Major League roster on Tuesday, but manager John Farrell says the club will likely call him up on Wednesday.

The corresponding roster move that makes most sense would be sending Brandon Workman down to the minors so he can get regular starts in the rotation.
