On Sunday, Game of Thrones is expected to deliver a hard-hitting episode that will leave fans of the series shocked once again with a major development in the story line. If you have not read the books, now would be the time to press the back button on your browser, because spoilers will be following.

The episode will feature the wedding between King Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell, in what fans have dubbed the “Purple Wedding.”

Here is a quick look at the episode synopsis for this weekend’s episode, “The Lion and the Rose”:

“A who’s who of honored guests turns out for Joffrey and Margaery’s wedding in King’s Landing, but the king’s taste in entertainment rubs many of them the wrong way. Meanwhile, Bronn gives a lesson to an unlikely pupil; Bran’s vision helps map out his journey; Stannis loses patience with Davos; and Ramsay takes a perverse delight in his new pet.”

SPOILER: For those wondering what the Purple Wedding is, it is the moment where King Joffrey meets his unfortunate end. Joffrey is poisoned on his wedding day, which ultimately leads to his death.

King Joffrey’s death has not been confirmed, but if the show follows along with the books then episode two of season four will be the moment that many fans have been waiting for.

After seeing how the story has developed so far, fans already appear to believe that the Purple Wedding will certainly take place on Sunday night:

Game of Thrones season four, episode two will air at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Go.
