Mike Napoli wants Elvis Andrus to shave his Abe Lincoln beard

Former Texas Ranger Mike Napoli went on to play for the Boston Red Sox and win his first World Series championship and this week is facing off against his old teammates and friend. In an interview on KRLD-FM 105.3, Napoli discussed the upcoming series and made one comment about his former teammate Elvis Andrus that was interesting.

Napoli wants to see Andrus shave off his beard.

“Elvis’ beard is terrible, by the way,” Napoli said, as transcribed by the Dallas Morning News. “Horrendous. He cuts half of his chin off, too I was just up there getting on him about it. Yeah it’s terrible. He looks like Abe Lincoln. … He has to cut that thing off. It’s so bad, it’s almost embarrassing.. .. I can’t even look at him it’s so bad.”
