The NBA Draft is this June and already we’re shifting from March Madness into NBA Draft talk when it comes to college basketball. But while the NBA playoffs will dominate the discussion in the coming months and prospects will take a backseat.

But for the time being, all eyes are on college basketball and who will declare for the draft. Marcus Smart may not have played in the championship game, but he was part of the college basketball conversation on Monday night as the Oklahoma State star will be entering the NBA Draft and leaving his school behind.

Per ESPN:

"After a tumultuous sophomore season, Oklahoma State star Marcus Smart has decided to enter the NBA draft."

His declaration comes after he decided to skip the draft in 2013 in order to return to Oklahoma State for another season. That resulted in some interesting moments as Smart was suspended for shoving a fan during a game, saw his shooting game take a dive and got bounced in the Round of 64 by Gonzaga.

Still, he’s projected as a lottery pick and will be drafted in the top half go the first-round. He may not be the No. 1 overall pick he could have been in 2013, but Smart’s NBA career will start this summer regardless.
