NFL Draft 2014: Tennessee Titans have zero intentions of working out Zach Mettenberger

The Tennessee Titans are looking for their quarterback of the future and it’s very likely that he comes out of this incoming draft class. While Tennessee isn’t looking to draft a quarterback with their top pick, they are looking at them later in the draft and one player who has a lot of eye on him is LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger.

But while the Titans are meeting with the LSU product ahead of the draft, Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt notes that no workout will be taking place as Tennessee has zero interest in making such a request.

Mettenberger is still recovering form his torn ACL he suffered in his last game with the Tigers, and there’s no rush to work him out too hard. But not requesting a workout isn’t being interpreted as not having interest, as the Titans are still meeting with the LSU quarterback and still have interest in him later in the draft.
