The Philadelphia Eagles are widely speculated to be looking for DeSean Jackson’s replacement next month in the 2014 NFL Draft, and they haven’t been shy about that neither, setting up visits with some of the most dynamic receivers that college football has to offer. According to a report from Fox Sports, you can add another one to the list as the team will be visiting with USC star Marqise Lee very soon.

Two years ago, Lee was considered the top wide receiver prospect overall, and would probably have been the first taken off the board. However, he chose to return to USC last season, and unfortunately he was plagued with some injury issues, as well as the coaching drama surrounding Lane Kiffin.

Throughout his career, though, Lee was one of the most impressive receivers to ever step on the field for USC, compiling 248 catches for over 3,600 yards and 29 touchdowns. He’s also no slouch in the special teams game neither, being especially effective in the punt return game.

If anything were to lure Eagles head coach Chip Kelly to Lee over some of the others, that might be it–his versatility. There’s a lot that Kelly can do with someone that has Lee’s attributes, especially now that he’s healthy.

Just like Jackson.
