NFL Rumors: Green Bay Packers to play Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football
By Bryan Rose
We’ve already heard of one schedule leak today as the Buffalo Bills will allegedly be playing the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, according to the Buffalo Bills overeager website.
But that wasn’t the only schedule information that came out on Tuesday afternoon and both tidbits of information involve the Bills ironically enough as they’ll be hosting the Green Bay Packers this season on Monday Night Football.
While we knew that the Bills and Packers would play this season, we didn’t know when. But thanks to a report from Fox Sports Wisconsin, their tilt will allegedly take place on Monday night.
"The full NFL schedule won’t be released for another week or so, but the Green Bay Packers will be playing at least one Monday Night Football game on the road this season. The Packers’ game in Buffalo against the Bills will be played on a Monday night during the upcoming season, according to a source."
The Packers have a very friendly television schedule this season (in regards to opponents) so I have a feeling the Monday Night game against Buffalo will be just one of a handful of times we’ll see the Packers on the national schedule.
