The Atlanta Falcons appear to be interested in improving their running game, but not by taking a look at the top free agent running back on the market. Instead, the team is looking at a fierce fullback who could serve as their lead blocker for Steven Jackson.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Falcons brought veteran Greg Jones in for a visit on Tuesday.

Jones has spent a decade in the league, with most of his career as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars before joining the Houston Texans last season. Now, he will have an opportunity to continue his NFL career in the NFC South.

The only fullback currently on the Falcons roster is Patrick DiMarco, who started seven games last season.
