NFL Rumors: Jermichael Finley to share medical tests with interested teams

Multiple teams showed interest in free agent tight end Jermichael Finley once free agency began, but after Finley failed his physical with the Seattle Seahawks, things quieted down for the tight end.

Finley, who suffered a career threatening injury during the 2013 season vows to play again, though, is still some time away from actually being ready to play – especially given the failed physical.

That said, Finley is improving and plans to have x-rays and an MRI taken in the next few weeks and will then share the results with teams who remain interested in signing him.

Finley told me he’s expecting to get an X-ray on his neck Thursday and an MRI within two weeks. The plan is to exchange the feedback on his latest films with interested teams.

No specific teams have been linked to Finely ever since the failed physical with the Seahawks, though off talent alone he should have plenty of potential suitors. Of course, teams will understandably be wary in regards to Finley given the nature of his devastating injury, but he seems determined to get back on the field for the 2014 season.
