After some late shuffling to the UFC’s upcoming fight cards, a bantamweight title fight between current champion Renan Barao and Team Alpha Male’s T.J. Dillashaw was booked for the main event of UFC 173 in Las Vegas on Memorial Day weekend.
On Tuesday, the UFC held a media day for the event, where all of the fighters met with media before squaring off for the first time to promote their bouts.
For Barao and Dillashaw, the stare down was a unique one.
Social media is constantly becoming more involved in our every day lives, and that was on display when Renan Barao, who is currently in Brazil, faced off with Dillashaw through a television screen thanks to Skype.
UFC Senior Director of Public Relations Dave Sholler shared a photo of the face off on his Twitter account:

It is certainly a unique face off, but something that goes to show just how far technology has come.
