Ryan Braun hits three home runs in Brewers' game against Phillies

The Milwaukee Brewers received an alarming bit of news in the last week when they learned that Ryan Braun is dealing with thumb pain. Specifically he is dealing with a nerve issue in his thumb that has bothered him in the past and that he opted not to have surgery on during his PED suspension last year.

If Braun’s showing on Tuesday afternoon is any indication, all is well with his thumb. Showered with boos, jeers, and taunts from the Philadelphia Phillies’ fans in attendance, Braun responded with three home runs on the day.

Below you will find video of the first of the three home runs, with an audible “CHEATER” yelled as the pitch approaches and a ridiculous shoe string swing to knock it out.

If only there were some other way we could contextualize this accomplishment to emphasize Braun’s history with PEDs.

Oh. Well thanks, Karl Ravech.
