Updated 2014 college football betting odds: Florida State favorite to repeat as national champions

With college football spring practices wrapping up around the country, the anticipation for the 2014 season to begin is at an all-time high,, as well as the anticipation to see who will win the first ever College Football Playoff to become the national champions.

Las Vegas has recently weighed in with their opinion, and despite the new format, they see the Florida State Seminoles as the favorite to repeat their performance from last season and walk away as the champs once again, with the Oregon Ducks coming in second.

Considering the fact that they are returning Heisman winner Jameis Winston at quarterback, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to most. The ‘Noles are stacked once again for 2014.

Oregon is also considered near the top there because they too return an experienced signal caller, and projected Heisman candidate, Marcus Mariota.

We’re still a little bit away from the start of the season, but this is where we stand as spring winds down.
