2014 NFL Draft Rumors: Stock of LSU's Jarvis Landry slipping?

When Jarvis Landry decided to enter the 2014 NFL Draft, it wasn’t as if his draft stock was on a drastic rise or anything, but he certainly had some things going for him.

A few months later and Landry’s stock appears to be dipping and doing so rather quickly.

After an awful NFL Scouting Combine last month, Landry had hoped to redeem himself at the LSU Tigers Pro Day, but things only got worse as Landry ran a pair of 4.58 forties which wasn’t what scouts were hoping to see.

As if that wasn’t enough, Landry dropped three to four passes during the afternoon according to Aaron Wilson:

Jarvis Landry dropped three to four passes today at LSU Pro Day, ran pair of 4.58s, rough day overall

Between the already questionable draft stock and the fact he didn’t get the numbers he needed at the Combine, Landry likely put an immense amount of pressure on himself to perform well today but choked.

Falling draft stock aside, Landry will still hear his name called, it’s just a matter of when – potentially not until the 4th, 5th or even 6th round depending on how bad scouts took his Pro Day.
