Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is coming off a Pro Bowl season where he caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. An impressive season, especially considering the fact that he had three different quarterbacks start during the season.
What might be especially scary, is that Gordon doesn’t think he has reached his pinnacle yet.
“I don’t think I really reached my pinnacle yet. I think this is the tip of the iceberg, really. I think I can go a lot higher, a lot further than that,” Gordon said in an interview with the team’s website.
It was only Gordon’s second season so it isn’t like he is facing the downward curve of his career anytime soon. The biggest concern might be who is throwing him the ball in the future. Brian Hoyer is still around but the Browns could be taking a quarterback in the draft and all that could impact his numbers next season.
