Legacy Fighting Championship will be returning on June 13 with Legacy FC 31 at the Houston Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas. According to MMAFighting.com, the event will be headlined by a championship double-header.
Undefeated prospect Henry Cejudo, who is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, will face off against UFC and WEC veteran Damacio Page for the promotion’s vacant flyweight title.
In the co-main event, Bubba Bush will defend his middleweight championship against Roger Narvarez.
Cujedo vs. Page will serve as the night’s main event.
It is a solid top of the lineup for Legacy FC, but it will be interesting to see what plays out on the scale the night before weigh-ins. In his past two flyweight appearances, Cejudo has failed to make weight and he will need to do so in June to allow the belt to stay on the line.
Page (17-9) is undefeated under the Legacy FC banner, with two stoppages due to strikes. Cejudo (6-0) is looking to keep his unbeaten record intact.
