Derek Norris launches winning home run for A's (Video)

The Oakland A’s and the Minnesota Twins went to extra innings on Saturday. The Twins rallied late to send the game to extra frames as they sought their first home win of the season and tried to even their three-game set with Oakland.

With the game tied at four in the 11th inning and two men on base, Derek Norris stepped up to the plate. If you believe in the mystical powers of hair and facial hair, this swing from the 25-year-old seemed meant to be.

In 135 plate appearances against right-handed pitchers in 2013, Norris hit exactly zero home runs. As he looks to level off his ridiculously crooked platoon splits from last season(.149 average against RHP and a .320 against LHP), a swing like this one is sure a good place to start.
