The Pittsburgh Penguins have been dealing with a number of injuries over the past few weeks, but they have finally received some great news. After missing two months of the regular season following a stroke, the Penguins have announced that defenseman Kris Letang will be returning to action on Wednesday night against the Detroit Red Wings.

Letang has been out of action since a January 27 match up against the Buffalo Sabres.
This season, Letang has 10 goals and eight assists in 34 games. While it will be great to have him back on the ice, the biggest boost for the Penguins will be on the defensive side.
