The Brooklyn Nets were believed to be one of, if not the biggest hurdle to the Miami Heat dynasty (at least in regards to an Eastern Conference opponent) when the season began. But of course, the Nets fell flat on their face for the first few months of the season while the Heat coasted along, only dealing with the Indiana Pacers.
But despite the Nets’ struggles, they’re back in the playoff picture and have now completed a season sweep on the Heat thanks to their Tuesday night victory.
Might the Nets have the special ingredient to defeat the Heat, given their success against Miami this year? It was a questioned asked by TNT’s Craig Sager, a question which LeBron James thought was rather laughable as he told Sager to ‘get out of here’ when the question was posed.
Beating the Miami Heat 4 out of 7 times is going to be difficult for any team, even a team that has defeated them four times in four chances during the regular season. As we all know, the postseason is a completely different animal.
