NBA Draft 2014: N.C. State star T.J. Warren officially declares

The NBA Draft is just around the corner and with it will comes a new class of young players looking to earn their keep at the pro level. One of those young players is N.C. State star T.J. Warren, who is one of the more dangerous players to watch in this upcoming draft.

On Tuesday night, Warren officially declared his intentions to enter the NBA Draft in a statement released through the Wolfpack.

Per AP:

“Playing in the NBA has been a lifelong dream of mine, and playing at N.C. State has prepared me well to achieve my dream,” Warren said.

Warren is being projected as a mid-first round pick by most as he possess the skills to be a standout in the NBA. He was the Conference Player of the Year in the ACC and looks to be a player that both intrigues teams and makes them feel comfortable about what they’re getting.

He may not become a superstar, but Warren was part of a big revival at N.C. State a year ago and his play this year has further proven he’s ready to make the jump to the NBA this summer.
