We are just two days away from the release of the creepy supernatural thriller Oculus. Last week, we showed you a brand new TV Spot for the film which allowed fans to witness the nightmare taking place in the film. Now, thanks to a new featurette, we get a look inside the film before it hits theaters this Friday.
In the featurette, director Mike Flanagan says that a lot of the things that he tries to bring into horror movies are the things that scared him as a child or things that continue to frighten him today. Taking into consideration what we have seen in the clips they have released thus far for the film, he must have some pretty creepy nightmares when he closes his eyes.
We also watch as producer Jason Blum recounts what really brought him into the film. Blum, who is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, has worked on many different horror franchises such as Paranormal Activity and Insidious, all of which have been incredibly successful horror frachises.
This will definitely be an interesting film to witness; however, while we wait for the film to hit theaters, let’s take a look at the latest featurette for the upcoming supernatural thriller Oculus.
Doctor Who actress Karen Gillan stars as Kaylie Russell and Home and Away actor Brenton Thwaites as her brother Tim. Longmire’s Katee Sackhoff and Argo’s Rory Cochrane play the roles of their parents, Alan and Marie Russell.
The film also stars Annalise Basso, Garrett Ryan, James Lafferty, Miguel Sandoval, and many more.
Oculus is scheduled to be released on April 11, 2014.
