Peyton Manning will be working out with his wide receivers again this offseason at Duke University so that they can get on the same page before the official start of organized team activities later in the offseason. Tight end Julius Thomas is also in attendance.

Unfortunately for one of the top wide receivers on the Denver Broncos roster, Demaryius Thomas, he will be unable to join his teammates for the workout.

According to Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com, Thomas is not participating in the work outs because of a shoulder injury.

Legwold says the injury is a separated shoulder.

While Thomas would benefit from working out with his fellow wide receivers and Manning at Duke, the most important thing for him is to make sure he gets back to 100 percent.

The player with the most to gain from the workout is Emmanuel Sanders, who signed with the team during free agency, as he looks to build chemistry with his new quarterback.
