The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking at possibly drafting a quarterback this year but the question remains who that quarterback will end up being. A lot of people have Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray penciled in as the Bucs quarterback of choice, but any number of things can happen that could land the Bucs a wide variety of quarterback options.
One of those options at the moment remains Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. While he’s projected to be anywhere between the first player selected to a late first-rounder, the Buccaneers may see him slide to them at No. 7 overall. Just incase that happens, or possibly to merely do their due diligence, the Buccaneers are meeting with Manziel on Wednesday.
The parade of QB prospects through One Buc Place will continue tomorrow when Johnny Manziel makes his way to Tampa.

It’s entirely likely that the Buccaneers and Manziel are meeting simply because he’s in Florida anyways meeting with the Jaguars, but there could be interest. He’s a wild card prospect who has drawn a lot of polarizing attention to himself and the Buccaneers are interested enough o call him in for a quick chat.
