It just hasn’t been the best offseason–off the field–for teams in the SEC so far, and now the Alabama Crimson Tide have had their names tossed into the news as linebacker Dillon Lee was arrested on DUI charges, according to a report from TideSports.com.
University of Alabama junior outside linebacker Dillon Lee was arrested Thursday on charges of Driving Under the Influence by the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
Lee was released on $1,000 bond
Already, head coach Nick Saban released a brief statement on the incident, and how it will be handled.
“I don’t have all of the details at this point and will handle it appropriately once I’ve had a chance to review all of the information.”
Lee played in every game of the 2013 season for the Crimson Tide, and was setting his sights on a staring job this upcoming season on Kirby Smart’s defense, although that is a bit questionable after this.
