Arizona offering cash prizes, right to call play at Wildcats spring game

If you’re headed to Super Wildcat weekend to see the Arizona Wildcats spring game on Saturday, you’ll have a chance to win as much as $500 if you can kick a 50-yard field goal or $250 if you can show off your arm and out throw one of the Wildcat’s quarterbacks.

I’m not sure if Arizona is going to lose any money on these as a 50-yard field goal is a mighty tall task, even for a number of college kickers, and I think it’ll be pretty tough to throw the pigskin further than any of the six signal-callers on the roster, seven if you include QB/WR Khari McGee.

But the main draw is the chance to call a play, even in a spring game, is a pretty cool deal and something you can always tell your grandchildren decades from now.

If you won the right to call a play for a college team, what play would you run?
