College Football Recruiting: 3-star WR J.F. Thomas commits to TCU Horned Frogs

The TCU Horned Frogs added the ninth member to their 2015 recruiting class on Thursday when they received a commitment from 3-star wide receiver J.F. Thomas.

The 6’5, 195-pound Thomas is from Dallas, Texas and attends South Oak Cliff High School.

According to Ryan Bartow of 24/7 Sports, the Horned Frogs offered Thomas on Thursday and it did not take him long to make up his mind.

Thomas is ranked as the 113th best wide receiver prospect, the 124th best overall prospect in the state of Texas and the 953rd best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Thomas chose the Horned Frogs over offers from the Arkansas State Red Wolves, Colorado State Rams, Maryland Terrapins, North Texas Mean Green and SMU Mustangs, among others.

That’s nice… So my Frogs recruit a guy who is 6’5″ 195lbs, no wait, he is 6’3″ 185lbs, really and the kid runs either a 4.4 sec 40, or maybe a 5.4 sec 40… Well great.
