After a lighter nine-game schedule Thursday, Friday brings us all the MLB teams in action with a full 15-game slate with all the games under the lights.  With all 30 teams playing, there is value to be had if you are looking for a starting pitcher on the waiver wire.

Each day, you can find my starting pitcher pickups here on Fansided.  I select three or four starters who are owned in less than half of ESPN leagues and suggest you pick them up if you need a streaming starter or a spot starter to give your rotation a boost this week. For our full fantasy baseball coverage, click here, or you can click here for just our starting pitcher focus.

My picks for Friday are below and in the following slides, and you can find my results so far this season on the final slide.

Joe Kelly-St. Louis Cardinals (5.2%)

Kelly picked up a win in his first outing despite allowing six hits and four walks in his first start.  He was able to work around the trouble for the most part allowing just one run to the Pirates in 5.1 innings.

Friday night, Kelly and the Cards will be at home as they host their division-rival Cubs.  Last season, Kelly dominated Chicago allowing just five runs in 23 innings (1.96 ERA) while going 3-0 against them in five appearances three of which were starts.  Since Kelly is at home against a team he’s had so much success against, expect a good outing from him this Friday.
